Campaign Plan
Timeline
In an effort to reach ultimate success, the New House Campaign will need to proceed at a proper pace. The board plans to construct a facility based on the amount of money actually raised, as opposed to rushing into an unfavorable financing situation.
Needs and Goals
The campaign has been established to properly position the chapter for a prosperous future. The funds secured through the drive will cover:
- New House Construction (Goal: $ 3,200,000)
- Maintenance Fund (Goal: $ 500,000)
- Campaign Fees and Expenses (Goal: $ 300,000)
- Total Campaign Goal: $ 4,000,000
How to Give
Contributions to the Oklahoma Mu Campaign must be made to the building fund established by the Corporation Board. Donors can give one-time contributions or pledge commitments, ranging from 3 to 5 year payment periods. An official pledge form is available, as well as an online version for those wishing to pledge their support by using the web. Another way to pledge will be by verbally informing one of the campaign volunteers or a FMG representative.
Beneficiary--Oklahoma Mu Building Corporation
The Building Corporation is a not-for-profit organization. Contributions to the Building Corporation are currently non-deductible.
Notes:
- The Oklahoma Mu Building Corporation accepts gifts of many kinds. Gifts of cash or marketable securities provide the greatest immediate impact.
- Transfers of securities provide additional tax benefits, enabling donors to avoid paying capital gains taxes.
- Matching gifts provided by many employers, which may be eligible, are encouraged.
- Family and pledge/initiation/graduation class gifts are welcome.
- In-kind gifts (products and services) are welcome.

Giving Level Chart
In order to build a great facility and prepare for future capital needs A solid campaign plan has been developed to fund the construction of a great facility as well as provide additional funding for perpetual maintenance and scholarship funds. As such, the following goal chart will be used as a guide to generating specific contribution goals. It depicts a successful campaign where a minimum of 30% of our alumni make contributions.
Broad support at every gift level is key to motivating those capable of contributing at the upper levels. All donors are needed at all levels to be successful.
